Excellent Review! I have last years i7 Slim and I feel like it's a perfect balance of power and heat, since it has the 13th gen i9 and the same GPU.

4080 laptops are ultra expensive

Watched this and the full review which influenced me to buy it. 3 years later and having massive performance issues. Recently got it cleaned and thermal paste reapplied and the GPU is still overheating like crazy, tried every solution I can, still no dice. Getting 17 fps in cyberpunk at medium settings. Even playing Civ 6 the GPU goes beyond 88C. Need to find time to take it into the shop, til then, using my wife's laptop, no gaming for me.

Worth mentioning, do not order an SSD before opening your unit. Even though in the video, at 6:40 this is mentioned, you could be fooled. Since these are manufactured in high quantities, they will use whatever is available. In my case, the unit had the longer SSD populated. This is especially true if the config is different that that of the video and the actual lot number differs as well.

You should get the 2024 acer predator helios 18 and review it 😀

4070 for laptops is a bad choice, when you can get more cheaper 4060 or add some money for 4080 to get a big performance gap between 4070

Too expensive 😭 I bought the LOQ 15 from Lenovo and it came this Tuesday; haven't had time to test it yet, plan on doing it today, but seeing as it's the model from last year, I was wondering if you know of a better budget gaming laptop for an entry-level gamer like myself. That is, of course, if a better budget laptop has been released so far in the year, or if the LOQ 15 is still a fine gaming laptop when it's my first gaming laptop

Please DON'T BUY this Legion Slim 7i laptop. You're limited to Windows 11 OS only. Lenovo provides drivers only for this OS version. You can't install any other Operating Systems on this machine. It has provisions only for two RAM slots and two SSD slots. I bought one by my wrong decision. Now I regret. Please don't buy this Legion SIim 7i 16IRH8. Will Lenovo provide Drivers for Windows 10, Windows Server, Linux ?

Only thing holding it back from being perfect laptop for me is off centre trackpad. It's harder to type because of unwanted clicks (palm rejection has it's limitations). It also pushes your hands towards edge of keyboard, which is uncomfortable. Ik certain workflows need it ( even i do) but c'mon just buy an external numpad for that

Can I connect my Razer Blade FHD 360HZ (screen) RTX 3080Ti GPU i7-12800H to a 4k monitor and game in 4k? Or 1440? Or is the GPU limited to fhd (ie 1080)? I happened to have a legion 5i 13700HX and 4070. On the day it was delivered after updating the graphics driver the brightness got stuck at Max and later Lenovo just refunded the laptop. I had it customised so it took them almost a month to deliver and after that I got problems like this and later that week they took it back

I used the 7940hs 4070 slim 7 from the previous gen. I was going to replace my non slim legion 7 3070ti . the 4070 slim performed slightly better in fps but kept having micro stuttering. It would say 100 fps but the 90 on my 3070ti felt smoother. I ended up returning the 4070 slim, noticed the same with legion 5 slim 4070 13700

I'm not sure why Lenovo go with an HX processor in a thin and light laptop, it kills the battery life and create unnecessary heat. I'm sure they can go with better GPU options if they use Core Ultra CPUs

Hi. I've had this one, for some time. Only complaint : ? The ink / process of displaying the letters / digits / on each key. THAT ink, is white. VERY CHEAP - it begins to wear off. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, : ENGRAVED each key FUNCITON ; DIRECTLY, INTO EACH KEY......then, add PAINT. ....o well.....deal with it > > > >> Petey....(the ink, would never be touched.....)....modern ' woke ' = all is for the eye-candy......looks, etc. Same as LED lites, on/in/ UNDER VEHICLES.....O WELL....some people, never really M A T U R E......on with this...video...

I can get the 4060 version with 16gb ram for $400 less than the 4070/32gb version tested in the video. Should I get that instead? I don't mind the 4060, but im just concerned about the 16gb ram.

Review msi stealth 16 ai studio pls. I had a bad previous experience with Asus and it fright me up to buy Asus zephyrus g16 to work and to play games. And I’m very interested in this model of msi to do the same thing
